Why does this happen? It is really simple, If your surrounding environment is positive, you stay positive, and vice versa. How often does this happen? Now, that is an issue. Thousands of people, thousands of definitions, and thousands of ways. Some people refer to it as an art, some as a feeling of ecstasy. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, “meditation is to focus one’s mind for some time, in silence or with the aid of chanting, for religious or spiritual purposes or as a method of relaxation”. According to me, it is a practice to keep you away from your mind and body for a while, to live thoughtlessly and in the present. It is all about the concentration and the control, that you have over your mind and body. Whatever people say about it, is true. Yes, that is right. Everyone has a different explanation about meditation, and that is what it is all about – To find your own definition.
How to meditate?
As mentioned above, thousands of people, thousands of definitions, and thousands of ways. There is no user manual. If you are going to ask Google about it, you would possibly end up with hundreds of ways, which all say the same thing – TO FOCUS. I used to do the same, and I have gone through every possible tutorial on this topic, but nothing worked for me. I used to go to the meditation centers, and I just could not concentrate there. It is different for everyone. If you ask me, I meditate by listening to the Solfeggio frequencies and by focusing on them. Now, If you talk about my mother, she prays. In both of the cases, the ways are different, but the same thing is been done. Isn’t it?
What I am trying to say is – do what works the best for you, that is how you do it. ‘Meditation’ is more like a jargon now, but trust me, it is not that confusing, at all. It is a process of self-awakening, and is entirely up to you that how you carve your way to it.
